PM CIRCUITS

PLC Connections' staff have been pigtailing and packaging polarization maintaining (PM) circuits since 1993. Most PLC circuits possess sufficient birefringence to maintain polarization when bonded with PM fiber. We understand the difficulties and issues associated with PM circuits over temperature and humidity extremes, and can offer our customers the best PM circuit performance in the industry.

•	Active alignment of PM axis
•	ER specifications for PM fiber arrays are >26 dB; typical ER after pigtailing an optical circuit with an input and output array is >22 dB
•	ER measurements over customer-specified wavelength, temperature, and humidity requirements
•	Available with any type of PM fiber (Fujikura Panda is standard)
•	Any type of PLC circuit can be pigtailed with PM fibers
