Mixed fiber array units (FAUs) are 1D or 2D arrays populated with different fiber types within a single array. When mixing fiber types within one array, it is important to specify fibers with the same cladding dimension and tolerances.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Single-mode fiber mixed with multi-mode fiber

  • PM fiber and SM fiber

  • Lens fiber with multi-mode

  • PZ fiber with standard PM fiber

  • UHNA MFD conversion fiber mixed with standard SM fiber
