PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Single-mode fiber array units (FAUs) are 1D arrays with high accuracy machined V shaped grooves populated with a SM fiber.

PLC Connections offers Single-mode fiber array units for PIC (photonic integrated circuit). Custom fiber spacing and dimensions are available.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Material: Quartz, Borosilicate, other upon request

• Fiber: SM, MFD conversion fiber, Lensed fiber

• Channel: 1-72

• Fiber Spacings: 82µm, 127µm, 250µm, 254µm, custom pitch upon request

• Unit Size: V-base thickness 1.5mm, Lid thickness 1.0mm, 0.2mm, No lid, Custom dimensions available

• End-face polished angle: 0-60° (lid short or lid long). Transverse angle polishing is available

• Connector: FC/PC, FC/APC, MT/APC, LC/APC, others available upon request

• 1D and 2D configuration available

• Custom specifications are welcomed (such as fiber protrusion, overall dimensions)

• High temperature option available

• Designed to be Telcordia GR-1221 compliant
